This Whitecloak Burger is ruthlessly delicious, above all others, in fact, with its fluffy marshmallow, crisp white onion, and spicy sriracha. Don’t be afraid, friends of The Wheel of Time. Under the Light, these flavors do not antagonize one another - truly you will leap with joy.
Don’t be afraid, girl. An Aes Sedai should know, above all others, that sometimes, brutality is the only path to mercy.
ingredients
directions
4 brioche burger buns
1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 white onion, sliced
4 slices cheddar cheese
sriracha
marshmallow fluff
salt and black pepper, to taste
Combine ground beef, egg, garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Form the meat into four ½ inch thick burger patties. Dimple the top to prevent doming.
Heat cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for two to three minutes. Place the patties in the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, only flipping once to allow a crust to form. Remove from pan then immediately salt and pepper, to taste. Allow the patties to rest.
In the same cast iron skillet toast brioche buns open face down in the meat drippings.
Assemble the burger
Start with the bottom bun and add the burger. Next place a cold slice of cheddar cheese, a handful of the crisp white onions, and a dollop of marshmallow fluff on top. Then add a generous amount of sriracha. Place the bun top on and serve.
